Got Hydrangeas?

Well, ours are just about blooming here in our gardens
(later than usual - thank you LONG winter).
Anyways, my mom gave me a neat tip / fun use of this particular flower
. . . and I thought I would share:
(1) Cut a bloom w/ stem
(2) Place in 1" of water
(3) Do not refill or mess with
(4) Leave flower in the vase until all the water is absorbed & gone
(5) This creates a "dried flower" HOWEVER all the flowers natural color is preserved
(6) Make a wreath or give as a gift . . . . limitless options
